Our goal is to provide for the mental, social and physical support to those within the Spina Bifida Community of greater San Diego.

Spina Bifida of San Diego SBSD is dedicated to the education, awareness, and support for patients and families with spina bifida.

Promote the awareness, education, and independence of children and adults affected by spina bifida in the greater San Diego area.

Provide a forum for all families and patients of all ages to share their experiences.

Update members on current resources and future medical innovations.

Facilitate the growth and function as future adult individuals.

Reach out to the greater San Diego community for equal access and representation.

Assist with school, social, and workplace integration Prevention: Reinforce folic acid supplementation to those at risk.

Promote partnerships with the medical community.
